Privacy Policy

Plain language about what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

Wiltshire Ventures (“Wiltshire Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific on purpose.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site, whether to get started, request the Franchise Benchmark Report, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you provide. That typically includes your name, email address, company or organization, the practice or topic you’re interested in, and any message you write.

Information collected automatically. We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Plausible) that records aggregate, non-identifying usage data such as page views, referring sites, and general device or country information. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (for example, IP address and request data) for security and reliability. We also use Apollo’s website visitor tracking, which helps us see which organizations engage with the site; it may set cookies or similar identifiers and can associate a visit with a company (rather than identifying you by name). We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with the site (such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) as aggregated heatmaps and session replays to help us improve usability; it may set cookies or similar identifiers.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and follow up about working together.
  • To deliver resources you request, such as the Franchise Benchmark Report.
  • To send our newsletter and updates when you’ve asked to receive them.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed to do so:

  • Apollo: our customer relationship management (CRM) and website-visitor analytics platform. We store and manage contact details from form submissions there, and its website tracker helps us see which organizations engage with the site.
  • Netlify: our website hosting and form-processing infrastructure.
  • Plausible Analytics: cookieless, aggregate website analytics.
  • Microsoft Clarity: session-replay and heatmap analytics that help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and tracking

We don’t use advertising or ad-retargeting cookies, and we don’t sell your data. We use three analytics tools: Plausible, which is cookieless and aggregate; Apollo’s website visitor tracker, which may set cookies or similar identifiers to recognize returning visitors and identify the organizations that engage with the site; and Microsoft Clarity, which may set cookies or similar identifiers to record aggregated heatmaps and session replays of how visitors use the site. Any other cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function.

Data retention

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal or recordkeeping requirements. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at legal@wiltshire-ventures.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to it.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
